A CONCERNED Marlow worker has urged authorities to remove a “racist” symbol of American far right group Ku Klux Klan at a skatepark.
The IT developer said the KKK stencil and accompanying pointed hat symbol at the skatepark in Higginson Park was racist.
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, has sent images to a council urging the graffiti be removed.
The 29-year-old, from the Heathrow area, wrote: “I am emailing you regarding the racist graffiti that is on the skate ramps in Higginson Park, Marlow.
“The ramps have four images depicting the mask of the Ku Klux Klan as well as the initials KKK.”
He wrote: “As someone who works in Marlow and walks through the park everyday I find this to be extremely concerning as it is normally young children and teenagers who use that area of the park
“Whether the markings have been sprayed their without knowledge of who the KKK are, or whether it is a deliberate act by KKK supporters I do not know and can only guess.
“Judging by the state of some of the markings I would say that some have only recently been added. where as others appear to be older.”
He added: “I trust that you will take the appropriate action.”
The email was sent to Buckinghamshire County Council.
The council told Bucks Free Press it has sent to the email to Wycombe District Council, which is responsible for the skatepark.

Its just a thought, but perhaps offensive graffiti can be spray painted over until the council gets themselves moving and actually removes it.
