A GRAFFITI image of a member of the far-right group the Ku Klux Klan was painted in “particularly bad taste” according to Marlow's mayor, Neil Marshall.
Four paintings showing a white hooded figure above the letters KKK were discovered on the ramps of Marlow's Higginson Park skate park by a passer-by this week.
Town mayor Neil Marshall said: “I suspect that it's likely to have been done in a humorous way, not in a serious way.
“I can't believe that anyone inclined to be serious about these things would be in Marlow.
“In any case it's not the sort of thing that people should jest about – it's particularly bad taste.”
The images have now been removed.
