MORE than 1,000 people visited High Wycombe Guildhall over the weekend to check out an exhibition promoting the positive contribution of Islam.
Among material on show at the High Street venue were ancient scriptures of the Qur'an, texts and displays.
Amjad Iqbal, organiser, said: "It was really well attended by people of all backgrounds and different faiths.
"The idea was to positively promote the contribution of Muslims in the western world. Most people don't realise quite how much Muslims have had to do with advances in fields like astronomy and medicine."
