Beaconsfield

2:19pm Friday 29th August 2003

BELATED congratulations (due to late postal deliveries) to the local Talking Newspaper which recorded its 1000th edition last week for about 130 listeners. The scheme was launched by Rosemary Segrove, who lives in Beaconsfield, in 1983. I remember doing a lot of publicity at the time. It is thrilling to know what she and the newspaper are continuing so well.
