High Wycombe clown helped by daughter at Red Nose event

A POLISH clown who wanted to help raise cash for Comic Relief made it a family affair by getting his daughter to join him at an event on Saturday.

Wojciech Szenfeld was approached by Sainsbury's and the Eden Centre in High Wycombe after an appeal in the Bucks Free Press to find Red Nose Day events he could help with.

The 39-year-old raised more than £100 at Eden on Friday with his act, and was helped by his daughter Agnes, 11, at Sainsbury's on Saturday, where the pair raised £90.

The father-of-three, who has lived in the town for two years, said: “I would like to thank the public who came along and supported us with our clowning over the weekend.

“Agnes joined me on Saturday and was particularly good at getting people to buy our balloon models, and made a lot of them herself.

“It was great to be able to use my skills to help others.”
