MUSIC will fill the air at Lauderdale House this weekend, when two up-and-coming artists perform.

Singer, songwriter and pianist Shari Mills arrives with her fusion of classic soul, pop, rock and jazz on Friday evening.

The London-based musician began playing the piano at the age of eight and went on to study classical music at Goldsmiths College.

Meanwhile, young Italian composer Lorenzo O Glieca from the London College of Music presents his original works on Sunday evening. Composed for a string quartet, Lorenzo’s melodies blend together European classical music with Brazilian bossa nova style.

Shari Mills performs on Friday, May 15, 8pm; and Lorenzo O Glieca appears on Sunday, May 17, 7.30pm, at Lauderdale House, Waterlow Park, Highgate Hill. Details: www.lauderdalehouse.co.uk
