A PARTY will be held in memory of a 20-year-old stabbed to death in High Wycombe town centre tomorrow night – because it is “what he would have wanted”.
Friends of Jourdan Griffiths will gather at The Roundabout pub in Bridge Street, High Wycombe to remember him and raise money for his family.
Organiser Ben Gildersleve said: “Jourdan was always a big partier, we used to do everything together.
“I think it is what he would have wanted.”
Mr Griffiths was attacked by up to four men at Buckinghamshire House, White Hart Street at 11pm on Monday.
Two men have been arrested on suspicion or murder and are being questioned by police on suspicion of murder.
Tributes have been written on Buckinghamshire House by friends.
Email your tributes to bfpnews@london.newsquest.co.uk.
The free event will feature Mr Griffiths’ favourite music and donations will be given to his family.
Mr Gildersleve, 21, said: “This is my own way of dealing with this. It is for people to talk about Jourdan, to get together and comfort each other.
“It is time to celebrate his life.”
He said he was a “regular” at the pub.
The event begins at 6pm.
