Police given extra time to question 16-yr-old murder suspect


POLICE have been handed extra time by Wycombe Magistrates Court to question a 16-year-old suspect arrested in connection with the death of Jourdan Griffiths.

Mr Griffiths, 20, from Totteridge, was attacked by up to four men inside Buckinghamshire House in White Hart Street at about 11pm on Monday night.

He was later pronounced dead at Wycombe Hospital.

The former Amersham and Wycombe College student died from a single stab wound to the chest according to police, who have been given until 8.16pm to question the boy who was arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday morning.

* Two men appeared at Aylesbury Magistrates Court yesterday charged with murder.

Lotto Williams, 18, formerly of Belmont Court, High Wycombe, and Christopher Joseph, 21, of Grenfell Avenue, High Wycombe, were jointly charged with Mr Griffiths' murder, along with “a person or persons unknown”.

Judge Stephen Dawson remanded the pair in custody and they are due to appear at Reading Crown Court on July 9.
