TRAVELLERS from the Hemley Hill camp site have appealed against the enforcement notice which said they had to leave the site within six months.
Wycombe District Council served the notice at the beginning of September to the nine gypsy families who live on the site near Princes Risborough.
The council gave them until the end of the day to appeal against the notice, which the travellers did today. The Planning Inspectorate, whose main role is to deal with planning and enforcement appeals, will now decide whether the appeal will be accepted.
If it is the Planning Inspectorate will then set a date as to when the appeal will be heard.
