BEKONSCOT takes a starring role in ITV's Midsomer Murders tomorrow, when a Gulliver-like victim is pinned down in the model village.

The Chilterns are often used for the prime time series, and Bekonscot will play the part of Little Worthy Model Village - where a body is discovered.

When a man is killed in the model village and tied down like Gulliver in Lilliput, DCI Tom Barnaby (John Nettles) and DS Ben Jones (Jason Hughes) discover a community full of traditions, tourist attractions and tea rooms.

But behind the guide books and picture postcards, the residents of Little Worthy hide many secrets from one another.

The popular murder mystery show also filmed at Bekonscot last year.
