A ROAD accident is causing traffic chaos in the centre of High Wycombe this afternoon.
Police and ambulances attended and a man was treated for injuries at the scene. He was later taken to hospital.
A stretch of the Oxford Road has been cordoned off in the West Wycombe direction, from the main roundabout at Eden to the junction with Bridge Street.
The road is open for traffic travelling from the West Wycombe direction into town, but is moving slowly.
Reports say traffic is slow moving in all directions from the roundabout.
Police officers, including a forensic team, are still at the scene and the police helicopter is also in attendance.
