A CHARITY Christmas Card shop in Beaconsfield has set up stall for the 40th year running.
Town Mayor Ken Brown opened the stall and bought his cards on Friday, congratulating the volunteers on its success.
Manager Marilyn Clarke said: “One of the best things about the shop is that we have so many cards from so many different charities all in one place.
“Customers always say what a good choice of cards we have - I would like to thank the Mayor and also all the volunteers who have given thousands of hours over the years and helped to make the shop such a success.
“There wouldn't be a charity Christmas card shop in Beaconsfield without them.”
The money raised goes to the 47 different charities, whose cards are on sale in the shop.
They include national charities like Cancer Research UK, British Heart Foundation and Save the Children and local charities such as Scannappeal, Iain Rennie Hospice Hospice, South Bucks Hospice and Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance.
You can visit the stall in St Teresa's Church car park behind Waitrose from Monday to Saturday 9.30am – 4.30pm and Sunday 12.30pm – 4pm.
