Youngster attacks stepfather in Chalfont St Peter


A 17-YEAR-OLD who broke his stepfather’s arm and four of his ribs in a baseball bat attack has been jailed for four years.

The youth from Chalfont St Peter, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was imprisoned for grievous bodily harm with intent to endanger life following the incident on June 17.

Following a dispute, the boy attacked his stepfather in Lovell Road in the village – leaving him with four broken ribs, a punctured lung, broken arm and broken fingers, said police.

Det Con Rachel Huggins, who led the investigation, said: “I am extremely pleased with the result as the victim sustained terrible injuries. I would like to thank the community for providing us with great assistance throughout this case.”
