Miss Buckinghamshire to help switch on Chalfont St Peter Xmas lights

A TOUCH of glamour will be coming to the switch-on of the Chalfont St Peter Christmas lights with a guest appearance from Miss Buckinghamshire.

Jade Parsons will be leading the countdown to the lights going on at the Fun Night in the village on Friday December 4.

She will be joined by her friends the Buckinghamshire Babes from 6pm selling calendars in aid of the Prostate Cancer charity in Market Place.

More than 30 stalls will be operating on the evening and there will be a children's fun fair in the precinct. Most shops and businesses will be staying open late to join in the festive atmosphere.

The evening has been organised by the Chalfont St Peter Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber President Michael Day said: “This year's event is scheduled to be the biggest and best ever and will help showcase everything that is good about Chalfont St Peter, its businesses and its community.”
