Lush and Gymboree to move in to Eden as Ann Summers opens up

COSMETICS giant Lush and children's centre Gymboree are the latest chains to announce plans to open stores in Eden – as Ann Summers moved in today.

Work is already under way on fitting a store for the 'home-made' cosmetics and soap company Lush, with the company 'hopeful' the new unit will be ready for December 11.

Lush told the Bucks Free Press this afternoon that it will be taking on 12 people to work in the new store.

Meanwhile, Eden today confirmed that children's learning centre, Gymboree, will also launch a new store in the centre but it is 'unlikely' to open until the new year.

Ann Summers opened its doors in the shopping centre just after 9.30am this morning between Rush Hair and Claire's Accessories, and opposite New Look.

Well this is possibly the best news ever - Lush moving into Eden.
No more having to travel to london or Milton Keynes or going on line to get my products.
Instant marvellousness and it is a fabulous place - puts the L'oreal owned Body shop way into the shade.
OMG a different bath bomb every week - can life get much better??

I hope Lush is made to keep their overpowering smells contained within the store.
.
Just passing any of their stores, I always find the odours emanating through the front doors truly nauseating.

I was there this morning! I was most traumatised cos I was asked by a male assistant if he could help me with anything.
I assured him that I was quite okay thank you!!!

I mean.. really - men in Anne Summers - what is the world coming to??

I don't expect so - besides it is part of the experience . You can tell a Lush store immediately from 100 yards!

I think you must be a very happy bunny having these shops on your doorstep, well almost on your doorstep anyway.

Haha.

You should've picked up a rabbit and asked him to show you how to use it?

Would have made a good story - even if it did leave you scarred for life!

More cheap publicity seeking from he of the greasy kebab van that is the centre of anti-social behaviour in Princes Risborough. (See story posted earlier in the BFP).

New shops opening everywhere! This is news announced ten days ago though.

I wonder how long it will take the BFP to tell us that Iceland are moving into the old Woolworth shop in the High Street, next to Poundland, news which surfaced last week?

Errr. Oops?

...and why has no-one thought of having Ann - I'll do anything for a pound - Summers?

That would be better than Iceland?

Always good news....another boost for Wycombes economy and more jobs.

While I can't claim to be a frequent user of Lush products, my wife loves them. They aren't full of chemicals and the staff are always happy, cheerful and knowledgeable. Other retailers could learn a lot from Lush.
