POLICE have appealed to motorists who abandoned their cars in High Wycombe to collect them as soon as possible.
Inspector Tim McGirr said the roads need to be cleared for gritters.
He added: “The roads in High Wycombe are clear enough to drive on at the moment, but abandoned vehicles are causing an obstruction.”
Chiltern District Council spokesman Rachel Prance said while snow is covering over lines for parking bays penalty notices will not be issued.
However, once it melts, tickets can be given again.
"As soon as the snow goes it's business as usual," she said.
