THIEVES failed to get away with a trailer in High Wycombe after they were tracked in the snow.
Two white men stole a single axle trailer in Totteridge Avenue at around 6.30pm on Monday but ran off after the vehicle tracks were followed to Underwood Road and the offenders were challenged.
One is described as about 5'9" tall, aged about 19 - 20, and wearing a dark coloured hooded jumper. The trailer was recovered by the owner.
Meanwhile alcohol and other items were stolen from a car on Wycombe Road, Saunderton on Monday.
Thieves gained entry to the red Vauxhall between 9.45am and 10am by tampering with the locks.
A brown handbag, a brown leather wallet, children's toys and a baby walker were stolen from the boot.

Another great piece of journalism by the un-schooled bfp staff!
