YOUNG people will get a helping hand from Connexions in Buckinghamshire with two information evenings.
Aimed at teenagers in years 8, 9 and 11 the events will focus on diplomas which are part of a national programme to widen choices for young people.
The diplomas have been developed with employers, schools, colleges and universities and are currently in 10 different subjects.
They aim to provide students with a route into higher education or employment combining learning with practical experience.
Buckinghamshire’s 14-19 entitlement co-ordinator Natalie Ellis said the events will include drama productions and interactive touch screens and time to discuss options with student ambassadors, tutors and Connexions Personal Advisers.
The 'Bucks Choices4me' information events are at Amersham and Wycombe College on January 12 and at Aylesbury College on January 11 between 4 - 9pm.
For more information young people can visit www.buckschoices4me.com or contact their Connexions Personal Adviser in school or call 0845 313 3413.
