UP-to-date sports facilities in Stokenchurch are now open for all villagers to use free of charge.
The Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) at Longburrow Hall has been waiting for the go-ahead from contractors after the recent snowfall delayed plans.
Temporary lines have now been drawn to mark out the 5 a-side football pitch and when the weather gets warmer permanent markings for football and netball will be put down.
The artificially surfaced outdoor games court can accommodate a variety of sports including 5 a side football, netball and basketball.
Stokenchurch teenagers Jamie Essex and Elliott Keeble secured at £50,000 from Buckinghamshire County Council's Youth Bank to build the sports area.
The facilities are available between 8am and 10pm unless previously booked, which will be displayed at the site in advance.
The parish council hopes to install floodlighting but is looking for funding.
An official opening ceremony is planned for the near future.
