TEN people died of a killer super-bug in six months at Wycombe Hospital, campaigners have claimed.
This is despite the hospital, in Queen Alexandra Road, implementing new infection control procedures to prevent MRSA.
A meeting held at the Reggie Goves Centre, in Paul's Row, High Wycombe, by campaign group MRSA Support on Saturday highlighted the prevalence of the bug at the hospital.
Campaigner Sean Panton said: "In a six month period ten people died. This is an outrage.
A spokesman for Wycombe Hospital said: "The trust encourages patients to ask staff whether they have washed their hands before having direct contact with the individual."
