POLICE on horseback will be taking to the streets of Chalfont St Peter this afternoon as part of a clampdown on anti-social behaviour.
Mounted officers will be in the centre of the village from 2-5pm as part of Operation Confidence.
Officers will also be in Amersham on March 17, Chesham on March 18 and 25 and Great Missenden on March 24 as part of Thames Valley Police's operation aimed at reducing anti-social behaviour in the Chiltern district.
A new 'Have Your Say' initiative also begins this week, with residents having the chance to speak to their local officers.
On Friday 12, police will be at the Co-op in Great Missenden from 10am-12.30pm, The Shop at The Lee from 11am-1pm and Tesco in Old Amersham from 3.30-5.30pm.
They will also be at Seer Green Baptist Church from 7-8pm on March 23 and Chesham Market from 11am-1pm on March 27.
