THE National Trust is celebrating Mothering Sunday by offering all accompanied Mums free entry to Hughenden Manor and Cliveden, as well as a free slice of home-cooked Victoria sponge cake.

A spokesman said; “With their beautiful historic surroundings, Hughenden Manor and Cliveden are both ideal locations for a breath of fresh air and a stroll around stunning gardens, and all profits go towards the upkeep of these special places.
