23-year-old man dies in A40 crash

A 23-YEAR-OLD man was killed and three others injured in an accident on the A40 on Sunday.

A silver Renault Clio carrying four men was heading eastbound on the A40 when it hit the central reservation barrier between Forest Hill and Wheatley junction at 4.20am on Sunday.

When emergency services arrived at the scene, the car was on its roof and two of the passengers were found in the road – which was closed until 7.30am while police investigated.

The 23-year-old was taken to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital, but later died. Police say the man was from Burnham near Slough.

Police spokesman Victoria Brandon said a second man was in hospital in a serious condition while two others were described as walking wounded.

All four men involved are believed to be from Buckinghamshire and east Berkshire.
