A SCHOOL in Beaconsfield has won permission to construct a new two-story building.
The new building at Davenies School, Station Road, will include two classrooms, a Design and Technology room, a library and a dining room.
A cricket pavilion will also be demolished to make way for the new building (see link below to view the plans).
South Bucks District Council accepted the proposal, having turned down a previous application because it encroached on the school fields.
Headmaster Craig Watson, said: “This is an exciting and important development for the school.
“We are enormously grateful for the support we have received, not only from within the Davenies community, but from neighbours, local residents, and the members of the Beaconsfield Town and South Bucks District Councils who have permitted us to proceed”.
