THE new £1.1million sports centre in Prestwood is nearing completion and could be open before Easter.
Prestwood Sports and Leisure Association says the centre in Honor End Lane will feature a large gym, a community room, a refreshments area, an all-weather flood-lit games area and a tennis court.
Building work started in September last year after the scheme secured a £683,000 grant from the Sport England Lottery Foundation, and £476,000 was put up by Chiltern District Council.
