MOTHER and daughter will be hanging up their plimsolls and donning their pumps on Sunday as they limber up for the Hyde Park Fun Run.

The two dance teachers, Elaine and Jacqui Jones, will be high kicking their way around London's most famous park as they sport high-cut blue spangled suits and head-dresses like those at Paris' Moulin Rouge Club.

The pair will be raising money for the Breast Cancer Unit at Wycombe Hospital and hope to hand over at least £300 after the three mile fun run.

Elaine, 49, who owns Tip Toes Dance Group, based in Marlow's Wethered Road, said: 'We are dancers not runners and to be honest, I'm not exactly sure how far three miles is.

'My husband, who was a triathlete, thinks I won't finish but I will give him a run for his money.

'I said to my students if they are not going to run with us then they will have to pay us for running on behalf of the Tiptoes group.'

Elaine's daughter Jacqui, 27, is a teacher at the school which has been in operating from its Marlow base for the past 25 years.

The group will also be staging a special production called Wait and See at the end of the year, profits from which will go towards the breast cancer unit.

The FloraLight Challenge for Women starts at noon outside London's Hyde Park's bowls court.
