A MUM will be strutting her stuff on the catwalk despite being pregnant. Sharan Johal, from Ealing, has been chosen from a list of hundreds of mums-to-be to follow in the footsteps of Liv Tyler and Claudia Schiffer and be pregnant on the catwalk.

She will be joined by 11 other pregnant women in the Model Mums Catwalk Show at the London Olympia.

Sharan, 33, who works from Hammersmith and Fulham Borough Council, was nominated for the role by a colleague, who thought she made pregnancy look easy.

Sharan said: "I am really looking forward to being a model mum.

"It will be a real treat for me to be made a fuss of and wear such stylish maternity fashions of the day.

"I believe that, just because you are pregnant, it does not mean you can't still look chic and fashionable."

She will also receive free gift vouchers and tickets to the show and is expecting her first child on December 1.

The Baby Show, organised by Practical Parenting Magazine, at London Olympia is on from Friday to Sunday.

Tickets are £10.50 in advance or £12.50 on the door.
