ELECTRICAL store giant Comet has opened a store on the Harlow Retail Park, Edinburgh Way.
A total of £1.2m has been invested in the new store which boasts more than 2,500 products.
The opening celebrations included a DJ, face painters and a children's entertainer as cartoon character Bart Simpson joined in the festivities with Ten17 FM's Black Thunder fleet.
Store manager Franco Carraturo said: "The opening weekend was a huge success, a tribute to the hard work and commitment of the entire team. We're really looking forward to welcoming people to Harlow Comet and delivering an unbeatable shopping experience".
