SUNDAY SEES A CHANGE in the arrangements for services at St Birinus and St John's Church. From now on both the traditional and the worship together services will be held at the Booker site. The times remain the same, 9am and 10.45am respectively.

1ST BOOKER BROWNIES meet at St Birinus and St John's Church on Tuesday evenings, 6.15pm to 7.15pm. If you have a daughter or know someone aged seven-plus who might like to join them, then this would be a good time to do so. The Brownies are currently thoroughly enjoying working for their environmental badge. In September they will be going on a pack holiday. Ring 01494 449345 if you would like further information.

DOG TRAINING CLUB members had a successful time at Stokenchurch Village Fete and dog show last Saturday. First in the class for the best child handler was Emma Webster with Rottweiler Tia. This pair also came first in the smooth coat and fifth in the breed classes and took the award for best in show. Second in the class for child handlers was Amelia Lowry, just six years old, with Sheltie Sophie. This partnership also came second in the long coated class. Best long coated entry was Val Lowry's Rough Collie Roly. Emma Sutcliffe with Collie Kruger came fourth in the obedience class.

The Dog Training Club demonstration team will be in action at Chinnor Fete tomorrow afternoon.

DID YOU SEE THE ARTICLE about 309 Horticulture in last week's BFP? The unit desperately needs volunteers to water their seedlings and cuttings over summer weekends. If you could spare time to look after the greenhouse at 309 Cressex Road over some weekends please ring Joyce or Penny on 01494 426911 or 426998. Leave a message if they are not there.

NEXT FRIDAY NIGHT, June 24 is Bingo Night at the Memorial Hall. Doors open at 7.30pm.
