Phone 'app' about Wycombe launched

A MOBILE phone programme detailing tourist and entertainment attractions in High Wycombe has been launched.

The iWycombe 'app' for the Apple iPhone offers photographs, maps, contact details and descriptions for more than 100 restaurants, shops and attractions in Wycombe.

App users will also be able to find out film times, gig guides and be able to share their upcoming events and experiences of tourist attractions within the town.

The free app was created by High Wycombe-based firm P & L Systems Ltd and is available from iTunes.

Well its okay but not brilliant. There are a few missing bits and some things don't work. For example look up Octagon Shopping centre and look into the details then select address, it gives and error to say "sorry I don't know where that is"

Would be really cool if it could have some of the independant shops on there. Help them would be great. Espically after some recent closures. Would help traffic up White Hart street. Also you have the caves and ww park, why not west wycombe too. www.westwycombevilla

Maybe even have a section on current roadworks? And a 'Catch the Pigeon' game?
