Councillor Darren Hayday "200 per cent against" stadium
FORMER High Wycombe mayor and district Cllr Darren Hayday has said he is “200 per cent” against plans for a new community stadium, in a move that may upset his fellow Conservative party members.
The Wycombe District Council member for Booker and Cressex told the Bucks Free Press that he has been against the proposals for a new stadium and sports village “from the start”.
Wycombe Wanderers and London Wasps owner Steve Hayes announced last month that the clubs were “backing Booker” as their preferred site for the scheme.
