TESCO has resubmitted a planning application to build a new store in Bourne End.

It is understood Wycombe District Council will accept the proposal after it decided last week not to challenge the retail giant at a planning inquiry (see link below).

Tesco had appealed to the planning inspectorate over its previous application, which is now expected to be withdrawn.

The description of the plans are the same as those for the previous application. Details about any financial contribution to the village infrastructure are not yet available.

The store looks set to be built on The Parade after the old police station is demolished.
