THE Wycombe Arts Festival continues this week with a varied programme.

On Saturday at 7.30pm St Lawrence Church, West Wycombe Hill will play host to the Chiltern Camerata, conducted by Sam Laughton. They will play Haydn, Mozart and Samuel Wesley. And on May 11 the English Dancing Masters will be coming to the Church House, next to Hughenden Church in Hughenden Park, at 8pm. Dawn Johnstone plays the lute, guitar and theorbo and Maria Sanger on recorders in the atmospheric 15the century Church house. Tickets can be bought on the door for both. THE City of London Sinfonia is holding a series of Lullaby workshops for children aged two to five starting today. The sessions will encourage children to look at some of the instruments played as well as singing, dancing and playing with the musicians. The sessions last approximately one hour and will be at Wycombe Museum (May 6 at 10.30am and 1.15pm), High Wycombe Library (May 17 at 11am), Wooburn Green and Bourne End Children’s Centre (May 19 at 10.30am) and Terriers and Amersham Hill Children’s Centre on May 19 at 1pm. Workshops are free, but booking is essential with each of the venues.

FOOD producers from Buckinghamshire will be selling their wares at one of UK's biggest food event until Sunday in London. The Real Food Festival will see Auberge Du Chocolat, Hazeldene Rare Breeds from Chesham and Sacla UK from Beaconsfield set up their stalls. The Real Food Market is at the Southbank Centre. LEGENDARY alto sax player Peter King is often in the news, but is attracting even more attention than usual just lately due to the publication of his autobiography - "Flying High: A Jazz Life And Beyond", plus the celebration of his 70th birthday.

THAME'S Music in the Park takes place this Sunday between 12pm and 9pm with bands Ska Souls (Madness) Ultimate Elton, The Peppermints (Motown), The Muttz Knuttz (party rock covers) and others. There will be a real ale tent, trade stands and stalls and a children's area at the Elm Park in Park Street, Thame.

All tickets will be £8 on the gate.

PAUL Macavoy's Illustrations will be showing at the Snug Gallery at the Belle Vue pub in Gordon Road, High Wycombe. The exhibition will run until the end of May and is a room off the main pub.

THE Chiltern Youth Chamber Orchestra will be performing alongside Jacqui Dankworth and her renowned jazz quartet at The Elgiva in Chesham this Sunday at 5pm. The youth orchestra play a classical repertoire by Copland, Vivaldi and Prokofiev and accompany Jacqui in her jazz arrangements. AMERSHAM Masonic Lodge have organised an evening of choral delights with A Night of Song at St Michael and All Angels, Sycamore Road, Amersham on May 14 at 7.30pm.
