BOURNE END library has increased its lending figures by 11 per cent so far this year, but is aiming to bump that up even higher.
It is calling for more people to use the service, and spread the word that three rooms are available for corporate and community events.
Last month it emerged the library on Wakeman Road could be drawn into Buckinghamshire County Council's spending cuts plan (see link below).
The facility is to be reviewed at the end of this year, when its lottery funding has run out.
Its future will depend partly on how successful it been in the last couple of years and how many people are using it.
