THE family of a 20-year-old who died in a car crash in Gerrards Cross on Sunday have paid tribute to a “perfect son and brother”.
Richard Nicholls, of Leachcroft, Chalfont St Peter, died after his blue Vauxhall Astra collided with a railway bridge on the A413 Amersham Road at 10.40am on Sunday June 26.
His family said: “Richard was a perfect son, brother and loyal friend; loving, very caring and quick witted. He lit up every room and was known for being a joker. He will be missed by every person who came into contact with him.
“Richard lived in Chalfont St Peter since birth and was employed locally as a dental nurse. It was a job he absolutely loved and which he described as the job of his dreams.
“He loved playing his guitar, socialising with friends and playing on his Xbox.
“He leaves behind a large extended family, his mum Michelle, dad John and twin brother Chris.”
Richard’s funeral will be held on Tuesday July 5 at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Chalfont St Peter at 1.30pm followed by a cremation at Amersham Crematorium at 3.15pm. All who knew him are welcome to attend.
