Murder inquiry launched in Thame
11:28am Sunday 4th September 2011 in News By Neil Phillips
POLICE have launched a murder inquiry after two women were found with fatal injuries in Thame in the early hours of this morning.
Officers were called to a house in Ireton Court at 2.21am and discovered the women. A third woman has been taken to hospital for treatment, but her condition is not considered to be life-threatening.
Police say a man was arrested on suspicion of murder in Thame Market Place shortly after the incident. He has been taken to Abingdon police station for questioning and it is understood nobody else is being sought for questioning at this time.
Police added the investigation is in its very early stages and a further statement will be issued in due course.
