FIREWORKS will be exploding across the skies of south Bucks over the coming days.

Here is a round-up of the organised events taking place across the area.

Friday, November 4

AMERSHAM: Amersham & Chiltern Rugby Club, Ash Grove, Weeden Lane. Fireworks start at 6.45pm. Family ticket £15, adult £5, children £3. There is a bar and hot food served. No sparklers please.

CHESHAM: Chesham United Football Club, Amy Lane. Chesham United Football Club is holding it's annual Best Guy contest for children in the area up to the age of 16. Children who bring a Guy will gain free entrance to the display. The winner will do the fireworks countdown with Mayor Derek Lacey. Gates open at 6pm, the fireworks display will start at 7.30pm. Entry is £6 for adults and £4 for children up to the age of 16.

GREAT KINGSHILL: Great Kingshill bonfire and fireworks display will take place in the field at the junction of Missenden Road and Cockpit Road. Gates open at 6pm, with fire lighting at 6.30pm and a display at 7pm. Tickets are available from the Spar and Cryers Hill Post Office. Tickets are £5, or 4 for £15 if brought in advance.

MARLOW: Foxes Piece School, Newfield Road, will kick off their fireworks display at 6pm. This is the 5th year the school has run the event and they promise a professionally fired display, great food and refreshments, and fairground rides. Adult tickets are £5, children £3

Saturday, November 5

AMERSHAM ON THE HILL: Amersham and Chesham Lions Club is holding their annual fireworks display at Amersham-on-the-Hill Cricket Club, Woodside Road. A BBQ and hot drinks will be available. Gates open at 6.15pm and the display will start from 7pm. Prices are £5 for adults, £2 for children. All profits go to charity.

BEACONSFIELD: Fireworks are being held at the Beaconsfield Cricket Club, Old Town. Food and Beverage stalls on the grounds including a hog roast and mulled wine. Tickets on the night, adults £5, children under 14 £4, family tickets £14. Tickets brought in advance Adults £4, children £2, family £12. You can book tickets and find out more at: www.beaconsfieldfireworks.co.uk Gates open at 6pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7.10pm and the display will start at 7.45pm.

CHALFONT ST GILES: Stone Meadow in Chalfont St Giles hosts their 'Magic in the sky' event for the 42nd year running. Gates open at 6pm, the huge bonfire will be lit at 6.30 and the fireworks display will begin at 7pm. Prices for tickets brought in advance: adults £6, children £3, family £15. Ticket prices at the gate will be a pound more, family tickets will be £18. Advance tickets are available from the Olde Posthouse, The Pure Living Company, Village News and Mini Market, Yaldens, Three Horseshoes (Seer Green), and Nucleus Gallery (Chalfont St Peter) until 6pm on the day. All profits go to village Scouts and Guides. No sparklers please.

FLACKWELL HEATH: Fireworks display at Carrington Playing Fields at the end of Chapel Lane. There will be two grand fireworks displays the first starting at 6.45pm. There will be refreshments available including a BBQ and licensed bar. Children are encouraged to bring a Guy to burn on the bonfire, the winner could win a prize. Tickets can be brought in advance in local shops and schools at £5. At the gate will be £6, children under 5s go free. Contact carringtonpta@gmail.com for a booking form.

GREAT MISSENDEN: Fireworks will be held by 2010 Great British Fireworks Champions by Great Missenden School. Gates open at 5.30pm. There will be fair ground rides, refreshments, a tombola, and a licensed bar. Advance ticket prices, adults £5 (£6 on the gate), children £3 (£4 on the gate), family ticket which includes 2 adults and 3 children £15 (£20 on the gate). Tickets are available from the school office, Samways Newsagent and Cafe Twit. There will be free parking at Great Missenden Railway Station from 5.30pm. No sparklers please.

HIGH WYCOMBE: High Wycombe Round Table Fireworks event will be held at Four Ashes Field, Kingshill Road, Terriers. Gates open at 5pm, the bonfire will be lit at 6pm and the display will begin at 6.30pm. There will also be food and drink and a fantastic funfair. Family ticket per car on the night is £20 and if purchased in advance £15. You can find out more information at: www.hwrt.org

MARLOW: Longridge will host a joint fireworks and end of season party on Saturday, November 5. Gates open at 5.30pm, the fireworks start at 7.15 and will last 30 minutes. Gates will close at 9.30pm. A family ticket, for a family of four £20 (£26 on the gate) adults £8 (£10 on the gate) children £5 (£6 on the gate). Under 5s go free. Tickets are available from Longridge, from the Marlow Tourist Office and via www.longridge-uk.org.

MARLOW BOTTOM: Burford School will be hosting a fireworks display this Saturday, November 5. There will be stalls and refreshments available. Tickets brought in advance are priced, adults and teenagers £6, children £5. Family tickets (admits 4) are £20. All tickets brought at the gate will be £8. NAPHILL: The Crick will be hosting the annual fireworks display. Food and drink will be provided. Gates open at 6pm. Tickets can be brought at local shops and pubs.

PRESTWOOD: Prestwood, Kingshill & Misbourne Scouts host their annual fireworks display in Wren Davis Field, Wycombe Road. Gates open at 6.15pm. There will be a huge bonfire, refreshments and fantastic fireworks. Single tickets are £4 in advance (£5 at the gate), family tickets are £9 in advance (£12 on the gate). Tickets are available from J N P Estate Agents, the Post Office at Prestwood, Spar of Great Kingshill, and Samways of Great Missenden.

STOKENCHURCH: Stokenchurch Scouts & Guides are hosting a Firework Display on at Studley Green Community Centre.There is a free shuttle bus available from Kings Hotel from 5.45pm. Gates open at 6pm. the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and the fireworks display will begin at 7pm. Refreshments provided in the form of hot dogs and there will be a tuck shop. Prices at the gate, adults £5, children £3.

STUDLEY GREEN: This annual display will be held by the Scouts and Guides at Studley Green Community Centre. There will be a professional display and a BBQ. Tickets can be purchased on the night.

Sunday, November 6

AMERSHAM: Winchmore Hill Cricket Club are hosting there annual display on the grounds in Horsemoor Lane,Winchmore Hill on Sunday, November 6. There will be a bar and a BBQ. Tickets are available at the gate, adults £5, children £3. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm.

BLEDLOW RIDGE: This display will take place at the field nect to the Boot P.H, Chinnor Road. There will be a superb display by Sonning Fireworks Ltd at 6pm, gates open at 4pm. Bar including mulled wine and hot food provided. Advance ticket preices are, adults £5 (£8 on the gate), children £3 (£5 on the gate), family tickets £14 (£22 on the gate). Tickets are available from The Country Store, Bedlow Ridge before mid-day on November 5 or by calling 01494 481524 no later than Friday 4th.

Saturday, November 12

PENN: Penn School is hosting their annual fireworks spectacular on Saturday, November 12. Mulled wine and refreshments will be available. Ticket prices are, adults £6, children under 16 £4, under 6 go free. Tickets are obtainable by calling the office on 01494 812139.
