A TREE planting event which was arranged for this weekend at Waddesdon Manor has been cancelled due to the weather forecast.
The tree planting event on Saturday was going to help plant a Diamond Wood at the estate to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, but due to the ground conditions and the weather forecast it has been postponed.
The events listed below will take place during next week:
February Half Term
Especially for half term, the gardens, aviary, woodland playground, stables shop and cafe will be open on Wednesday 15 through to Friday February 17, from 10am – 5pm each day. The gardens, aviary, woodland playground, manor shop and restaurant will be open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 February.
St Valentine’s Afternoon Tea
Treat your loved one to an afternoon tea in the mManor restaurant, with pastries and dainty open sandwiches. Pre book to receive a complimentary glass of champagne. £21.50 per person, £13.50 for National Trust members. 3-5pm on Sunday, February 12.
