THE hunt is still on for a pet dog who went missing in the Bucks countryside more than a month ago.
Quigley, an eight-year-old crossbreed, went missing from the Watlington Hills in Oxfordshire on January 2, and has been spotted in the Chiltern hills in south Bucks.
But despite the sightings the beloved pet has still not been returned to his despairing owners - who have now put up a reward of £2,500 for information leading to his safe return.
Quigley has been seen in the Thame and Bledlow Ridge areas in the last week and volunteers searching for him have taken advantage of the snowfall to look for pawprints which they think are his.
He is described as having black patches and spots all over his coat. His markings look like that of a German Short Haired Pointer or Catahoula Leopard Dog, but he is a little bit smaller than a collie. His face and paws have tan mixed in and has three black spots on his posterior.
Quigley has developed a shaking habit and needs to get to a vet for monthly specialist medical care after he contracted the intestinal infection Giardia . Anyone with information should call Holly on 07770 751631 or 0844 8003220. For more information go to http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog_blog.php?dogId=35889&status=lost.
