IT may be weeks before an identity and cause of death can be established for the human remains found in Beaconsfield, police say.
A body was found in undergrowth near the BP garage in Wycombe End on Thursday, with officers treating the death as unexplained (see link below).
A post-mortem on Friday did not establish a cause of death and further tests will be carried out to try and confirm this, as well as the identity.
A police spokesman added: “There is no update at the moment and there is unlikely to be for some weeks.”
