POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 23-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash on the A40 near Denham.

The incident happened between the Swakeley’s roundabout and junction one of the M40 at 2.40am on Sunday.

A black Vauxhall Corsa was involved in a collision with a crash barrier and the driver, a 23-year-old man from the Hillingdon area, is currently in St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington.

Police said he is being treated for a broken leg, broken ribs and liver trauma.

Surely the BFP should at least spell the headline correctly! (Does make one speculate on what the BF actually is an abbreviation of!) Hope he makes a full recovery. Two bad Corsa accidents within days so is it the cars, the drivers or just bad luck? There always seems so much said by posters when a BMW or 4x4 is involved.

trouble with bucks free press reporters it seems they sit in a nice cosy office and get reports off the phone, this paper is not as good as it once was
