Cashier hurt during garage raid Cashier hurt during garage raid

A CASHIER at a Cookham garage was injured after being robbed by three men demanding money.

The cash tray from the till at Barnside Motors in High Street was taken during the raid at around 5.25pm last night.

Thames Valley Police has today launched an appeal for information after the robbery, which came when three men stole the cash after assaulting the cashier.

Det Con Alex Marshall said: "The victim suffered a cut to the bridge of his nose in the incident and has been left shaken by what happened.

"We believe that the men sped off in a dark coloured car which travelled towards the White Ladies Green area.

"I am keen to speak to anyone who has any information about this incident that could help with our investigation or anyone who witnessed people in the car acting suspiciously in the area either before or immediately after the robbery."

It is believed that three Asian men were involved in the incident.

One is in his mid twenties, around 5ft 7ins tall, and slim. He was wearing a black ski mask and a black hooded jacket with the hood up.

The second man is also in his mid twenties but is smaller. He was wearing a white waterproof jacket with the hood up. There is no description of the third man at this time.

Anyone with any information about this incident should contact Det Con Marshall on 101 or the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
