Supergran from Amersham honoured on ITV show Daybreak

Supergran Jane Fallon with her family on this morning's Daybreak show
A POPULAR daytime TV show was broadcast live from Amersham this morning to honour one of Britain's Greatest Grans.
Jane Fallon was named one of ITV1 show Daybreak’s Greatest Grans after a nationwide search and parts of today's programme came from her house.
She was put forward for the award by daughter Emma and grandchildren Amy, Jamie and Louis in recognition of her work as a midwife at Wycombe Hospital.
Son-in-law Matthew March said: "We entered not thinking any more would come of it, but a month later Emma got a call from a researcher to say Jane had been picked.
"She then had a surprise visit at the clinic where she works two weeks ago. She was a bit shocked."
Mrs Fallon is one of five supergrans to be honoured on Daybreak this week, with the show celebrating Mother's Day and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
The mum-of-three also works as the community midwife in Amersham - and has been present at the births of all seven of her grandchildren, even helping to deliver one at home.
Mr March, an electrician from Chesham, said: "She's been very hands-on and helps out as much as possible. It's a way for the girls to say thank you for being there and helping with the trials and tribulations that grandchildren bring.
"She helps out and picks them yp from school, and she's rearranged her work load so Emma can go back to work."
She will have her hands full again in May with grandchild number eight on the way - and she'll there to help out again.
