Hope the police check whether the person should or should not be driving in the first case?

Be interesting to know a bit more about the incident...

Why? A person's medical records are nothing to do with any of us, and people are taken ill, every day. It seems that he survived, but you appear less than interested in that.

A sudden medical episode can happen to anyone and at any time. Thankfully no one was hurt in the instance. I hope the driver receives the medical help he or she needs.

I have medical episodes every week. It's usually Casualty, but I watch Holby City sometimes. I think I'd be foolish to drive at the same time though.

What on earth is a 'medical episode' The BFP certainly has a way with words!

I am guessing that a 'medical episode' is referring to a medical condition suffered by someone without actually specifying exactly what it was. As an example, this could mean someone had suffered a stroke or a fit.

My thought train was... perhaps this was caused by somebody who should be driving in the first place?

My father in law has MS and he drove up to the point when he shouldn't have and drove across a roundabout once! He wouldn't listen to anybody...

I also know of an old gent right now who's eyesight is terrible and he can't concentrate on his driving, but won't listen to reason.

So again I say I hope the police will check to see whether or not should be driving in the first place.

Given the poor young lady who was killed last year on the A404 by a chap who shouldn't have been driving I can see why this is a sensitive issue and people asked the question they did.
