Cliveden Rocks event cancelled due to weather.

POOR weather conditions has led to the cancellation of the annual Cliveden Rocks event this weekend.

The outdoor event, held in the grounds of the National Trust property, was this year to feature a line-up including Utter Madness and Queen B tonight and He's The One (Robbie Williams tribute band) and The Magic of Abba on Saturday.

Both dates have been cancelled, it was announced today.

Tickets bought via The National Trust website or box office will be refunded automatically For refunds on tickets bought via The Frost Partnership please e-mail Cliveden@nationaltrust.org.uk

Probably the fact that the ground is water logged, therefore staging and equipment cannot be put into position safely! Duh.

It's good to see organisers of events like this doing the responsible thing after all this rain. Many of the big rock festivals (Isle of White, T in the Park) are carrying on regardless leading to a miserable and possibly dangerous experience for those who have spent a lot of money for tickets.
The rain this year has not been normal.
