More than 100 car tyres stolen More than 100 car tyres stolen

MORE than 100 car tyres were stolen from a garage in High Wycombe, prompting a police appeal for witnesses.

Officers said the burglary happened at a property in Desborough Avenue overnight between Wednesday and Thursday last week. Details of the incident were released this afternoon.

The Bucks Free Press understands the garage involved was National Tyres and Autocare.

PC Hayley McEvoy from High Wycombe police station said: “Due to the amount of items stolen I believe that the offenders used a vehicle.

“I would like to hear from anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area or if you have been offered a large amount of tyres.”

If you can help please contact PC McEvoy via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

I'll go one better, if they stole 100 tyres I suspect it could have been a large van or lorry that was involved and probably not a small sized super-mini car.

With powers of deduction like that do you think I would make it to Chief Inspector?

As people who mock the officer quoted in this article, many of you seem to have quite appalling spelling - which somewhat detracts from your position to laugh, really!
"wood have" isn't even close, and what the hell is a "vehical", mother123? I mean, that word is in the article to begin with!
And cocobay, I think you mean "actually" and "under THEIR arms".

This is GCSE English. People who laugh when they really oughtn't irritate me.

For someone who is so picky on other people's english grammar, don't you think your sentence would have been better to read

"This is GCSE English. People who laugh when they really should not, irritate me"

Even tho "oughtn't", is used, if you are going to use it, do it properley.
