Goodnight Walk in Amersham in 2010
A 'GOODNIGHT Walk' is being held in Beaconsfield tomorrow to raise cash for Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care, with a Best of British theme. Choose from a five or ten mile route. Costs £15 for adults and £7.50 for children between 10 and 16 years. Meet at the Curzon Centre on Maxwell Road at 9pm. Register at: www.gnwalk.com
ST Michael's Church in Beaconsfield hosts a concert from the Chesham-based 'Damon Singers' tomorrow from 7.30pm. Tickets available at the door or from 01494 676373. They are priced at £12 including pudding and a glass of wine. The concert is in aid of Sharon International Ministries.
STOKE Poges, Wexham and Fulmer Horticultural Society are holding their 119th Annual Show on Saturday, July 28, and are hoping for lots of entries in the open competition for plants, flowers, fruit, vegetables, baking, wine, crafts, art and photography. AHMADI Muslims held a unique event at the Jordans Quakers Meeting House on Sunday, staging an exhibition of the Holy Quran in over 60 languages. Organisers say it was the first such event to be held in the village and about 75 people attended.

ST THOMAS Church in Holtspur is delighted to announce the appointment of Revd Narinder Tegally as its next vicar from September. She is currently a Senior Chaplain for the Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital Trust in London. She and her husband Oosman will be moving into St Thomas' House during the summer.
RESIDENTS have called for a dog waste bin to be installed in Ledborough Lane. Beaconsfield Town Council said it will consider the idea.
