Leave extra time for train journeys during Olympics
COMMUTERS in south Bucks are being reminded to leave extra time for journeys into London when the Olympic Games get underway.
Passengers could have to wait more than half an hour to board services at Marylebone station at the busiest peak morning times, Transport for London is warning.
Mainline railways terminuses, including Marylebone and Paddington, are all expected to be far busier once the Games start this week.
Stations are expected to be busiest from 7.30-10am and passengers are warned there will be greater delays in the second week of the Games, from August 6-10.
Delays are also expected during the Paralympic Games, although these are predicted to be less severe than during the Olympics.
