A BIG Red Box was set up in Chesham market place today as researchers asked shoppers for their views on the internet.

BFP reporter Lawrence Dunhill was among those to enter the interview booth and be quizzed by a robot bearing a strange resemblance to Virgin founder Richard Branson.

The booth was set up as part of Virgin Media's 'Our Digital Future' project and staff were aiming to get at least 30 people inside - to gather opinions on different aspects of the internet, from general usage to social networking and cyber bullying.

Interviewees were given a photograph of themselves in the booth after answering all the questions.

Chesham has been chosen to pilot the project, which will include Virgin installing free public WiFi around the town (see related links).
