Man injured after Handy Cross 'altercation'
3:52pm Tuesday 31st July 2012 in News By Neil Phillips
A MAN suffered head injuries at Handy Cross roundabout in High Wycombe after two motorists became involved in an altercation, police said today.
The driver of a light green Ford Focus became involved in an incident with the rider of a Yamaha motorcycle just before the turning off for the Wycombe Road at about 8.40am on Friday, July 27.
The driver of the Focus received cuts to his head and the motorcycle rider suffered minor leg injuries.
PC Mike Ramsden, investigating the incident, said: “This incident happened at a busy time of the day and I am sure there were more witnesses that we still need to come forward.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact the police on 101 or the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage. He has been released on bail until 15 August.
